Glass/Metal Cladding Systems
Interior & Exterior Solutions Designed and Developed by Westhampton Architectural Glass
In construction, cladding refers to the application of one material over another. Glass and/or metal are popular materials to use to either create a desired architectural look or to hide structural elements. Interior or exterior glass cladding can utilize many different types of glass – reflective, back painted, or textured – and can be mounted either adhered directly to a surface or via pre-applied substrates that are hung from a façade.
Metal cladding can utilize nearly any type of metal in sheet form – stainless steel, painted aluminum, anodized aluminum, copper, brass, etc. It can be bent into custom shapes to create fascia, wrap columns, or wall panels – the possibilities are endless!
